ABOUT THE COMPANY
Deadweight is an experimental theatre company specialised in interactive work, founded by Jack Aldisert, Dominika Uçar, Hannah Gintberg Dees and Anna Niamh Gorman. They have produced award-winning theatre and live experiences and are now touring this work internationally. Their multidisciplinary approach to making work draws on their backgrounds in scenography, dramaturgy, filmmaking, and visual art. Work includes the critically acclaimed The Manikins: a work in progress and RUBBERNECKS. Deadweight believes theatre should celebrate its own liveness, making shows that can be experienced only on that night and in that place. Unfilmable, and even indescribable.
